Caroline Glicksman, MD FACS
A board certified plastic surgeon since 1994, Dr. Glicksman has authored numerous chapters in prestigious textbooks and peer-reviewed journals, including two chapters in the October 2015 Clinics of Plastic Surgery. She lectures regionally, nationally, and internationally, covering topics including the management of breast implant complications, the diagnosis and correction of breast asymmetry, and patient education in breast augmentation.
Dr. Glicksman has been a principle investigator for 7 breast implant clinical trials since 1998. She is a member of the ASERF (Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation) committee, serves as faculty for ASAPS and ASPS, is a member of the RADAR committee, a reviewer for the breast section in ASJ and PRS, as well as a 2015 recipient of an ASERF research grant. She is the first woman to serve as a Medical Director for a breast implant clinical trial, helping to design the protocol for the Establishment Labs Motiva Silicone Breast Implant Clinical trial. Dr. Glicksman is also a founding member and member of the medical advisory board for the Plastic Surgery Channel.
Dr. Glicksman holds three United States patents related to breast implant surgery and continually strives to improve outcomes for women undergoing breast augmentation and reconstruction. She is currently enrolled at Seton Hall Law School obtaining her MSJ in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law. Her practice focuses on breast implant surgery and includes plastic surgery of the face and body. Married to an Orthopaedic surgeon, she has four children.
