Dr Terrence Scamp is a cosmetic plastic surgeon who has been practising on the Gold Coast for over 20 years. His practice is located at Esteem Medi Spa in Marina Mirage, Main Beach.
Dr Scamp is a University of Queensland graduate and did his initial surgical and plastic surgery training in Brisbane. Subsequent to this he spent 3 and a half years in Europe, the UK and the USA completing his plastic surgery training.
He continues to travel extensively to keep abreast of the latest techniques in cosmetic plastic surgery.
Cosmetic breast surgery and revisional cosmetic breast surgery comprise a large portion of Dr Scamp’s practice. He believes that cosmetic breast surgery should be individualized to the patient with choice of implant and technique based around the patient’s breast dimensions and the desired outcome.
Dr Scamp is a proponent of the use of 3D imaging in cosmetic breast surgery and has been involved in the refinement of these devices. He finds them particularly useful in treating breast asymmetry to achieve the optimal outcome.
Dr Scamp takes a ‘safety first’ approach to cosmetic surgery and is very mindful of minimizing the patient’s risks and complications.
